The Workshop · Roadmap
The full path of the Workshop planet — every workshop, in order, with what's already live and what's coming. So you know the road you're on.
THE PATH
A real cadet doesn't just learn to use AI. A real cadet learns to use it well, catch it when it's wrong, push it past its first answer, and never let it replace their own thinking. Here's how that path is built.
The Workshop planet teaches AI literacy as a real subject — with the same seriousness The Library teaches reading. It's not optional in this curriculum. It's not a "fun extra." Cadets graduate this planet with prompt skill, judgment, verification habit, and a clear sense of where AI helps and where it never will.
The path is split into three tracks: foundation (now), practice (queued), and mastery (later). You don't have to take them in order — but most cadets will, because each one builds on the one before.
These are live. Together they form the floor: how to talk to a machine, how to spot when it's lying, and how to ask better questions when the first answer isn't enough.
What an AI actually is. The four pieces of a good prompt. You write three of your own.
When AI makes things up — and how to catch it. You build your verification habit here.
One prompt is never enough. Diagnose, repair, stack — the iteration loop pros use.
After the foundation, cadets put AI to work the way pros do: iteration, verification, context. Theory becomes habit.
The first prompt is a guess. The third one usually works. Plan a 3-step iteration loop.
Cross-checking what an AI tells you against the real world. Build your own checking routine.
Giving the model the right context — role, audience, constraints.
For cadets who've finished tracks 1 and 2 and want the real thing. Judgment, voice, and honesty — the questions only humans can answer.
Knowing the difference between a tool that helps and a tool that takes over.
Using AI to think with you without losing your own voice.
The three honest questions every AI user has to answer.
The Workshop planet doesn't end on this page. The skills you build here travel with you to every other planet in the Academy. Use AI as a study partner in The Library. Use it to brainstorm rhymes in The Studio. Use it to debug a circuit in The Lab.
And eventually — if you stay with it — AI literacy stops being a skill you "have." It just becomes how you think. Same as reading. Same as writing. Same as math.
That's where this leads. That's why we built the planet first.
