The Workshop · Workshop 05 · Practice
Five steps. About 25 minutes. Up to 7 stars. The constellation you're building is called First Cross-Check.
The smartest thing you can do with an AI answer is not to believe it — or refuse to believe it — but to check it.
When a machine answers in confident, complete sentences, your brain wants to trust it. That feeling is a trap. The machine is sometimes right, sometimes wrong, and the right answers and the wrong answers look exactly the same.
The fix is a habit: every time the answer matters, you check it against something else. A trusted source. A second AI. A human who actually knows.
By the end of this workshop you'll have a personal checking routine you can use anytime an AI tells you something important.
That's the warm-up. When you've actually read it — not skimmed — tap below.
Pick all that fit.
Click a claim, then the best check.
Write a 3- or 4-step routine you'll use whenever an AI tells you something important. Be specific.
Stuck? Try: "1. Read the answer. 2. Find one other source. 3. Compare. 4. If they disagree, ask a real person."
One sentence. Be honest.
