Safe Prompting Playground

A simulator. Nothing leaves the page. Practice writing prompts and see how they grade out — before you touch a real AI tool.

PRACTICE · NO ACCOUNT · NO DATA SENT

Build the muscle here.

Three scenarios. Write a prompt for each. The simulator grades it the way the Workshop teaches and shows you a sample response. Refine and resend as many times as you want.

This is not a real AI. It's a teaching simulator. Your prompts stay in your browser — they aren't sent to a server, an AI service, or anyone. Practice freely. Mess up freely. That's the point.
SCENARIO 01

A poem for someone

You want a poem. Could be for a birthday, a thank-you, or just because. Write a prompt that would actually get you something good.

Challenge: Tell the simulator who the poem is for, what kind of poem, and how long it should be. The more pieces, the higher the rating.

SCENARIO 02

Help me understand something

A topic from school is confusing you. Maybe fractions. Maybe how a leaf makes food. Maybe why a story has a "moral." Write a prompt to get a better explanation.

Challenge: Tell the simulator what the topic is, what you already understand, and how you want it explained (with an example, in simple words, like a story, etc.).

SCENARIO 03

Brainstorm with me

You're trying to come up with ideas — for a story, a project, a song, a name, an invention. The AI is great at this if you brief it well.

Challenge: Say what you're brainstorming, give a direction or vibe, and ask for a specific number of ideas. Bonus points for "in the style of" or "like X but different."

Here's the cheat code: more pieces equals better answers, almost every time. Specifics. Context. Format. Examples. The more of those four you put in your prompt, the more the answer becomes your answer instead of a generic one.

When you've made each scenario hit four pips, you've got the muscle. Take it to a real AI tool with your grown-up — or come back and run the Asking Better Questions workshop next.
