Fear is information, not the enemy. This workshop teaches you to read what your fear is telling you, drop the ones that don't serve you, and act on the ones that do.
Fear is not a bug. Fear is a signal. It was built into you a long time ago to keep you alive. Turning it off is not the goal. Reading it correctly is.
This workshop starts from a different place than most kid content. It doesn't pretend everything is fine. It doesn't tell you to "just be brave." It says: fear is a real system in you, some of what it tells you is true, some of what it tells you is a lie, and you can learn to tell the difference.
Every practice on this shelf assumes you can handle the honest version. Because the kids who get the honest version early grow up to be adults who aren't scared of being scared.
Real practices for one of the hardest parts of being a kid. Nothing here pretends fear isn't real. Everything here treats you like you can handle the truth about it.
Three lessons — what fear actually is, the difference between fear and danger, and the practice of moving WITH fear instead of away from it.
