Five steps. About 25 minutes. Up to 7 stars. The constellation you're building is called First Song.
A song is something a human made on purpose — sounds and words held together by a feeling.
If you take a song apart you find a few pieces. Melody — the part you can hum. Rhythm — the beat under it. Words — what's being said, if anything. And feeling — the reason any of it matters.
Most songs have all four. Some leave one out on purpose. There's no rule that says you have to use words. There's no rule that says it has to rhyme. The only rule is that someone meant it.
You're going to do five things. Each one earns a star. At the end, you'll have written four lines of your own — that's your first song. It'll save to your sky.
That's the warm-up. When you've actually read it — not skimmed — tap below.
Not a trick. Pick all that fit. You can pick more than one.
Click one piece on the left, then click what it does on the right. Match all four.
Any topic. Any feeling. They don't have to rhyme. Don't think about whether they're good — just write four lines that mean something to you.
Stuck? Try finishing this: "If anyone asked me what today felt like, I'd say…"
One sentence is enough. Two is better. Nobody but you (and your grown-up) ever sees this.
