Your human network is your real net worth. Most kids (and most adults) have never sat down and mapped who's actually in it.
Think of your real network as having three rings. Inner ring: people you'd call at 3am if something was really wrong. Usually 2 to 5 people for most kids — parents, one or two best friends, maybe a sibling or grandparent.
Middle ring: people you'd ask for real advice or real help — teacher you trust, coach, aunt or uncle, longer-term friends. Usually 5 to 15.
Outer ring: people you have a real connection with but aren't close to — classmates, neighbors, friend's parents, people you see at activities. Usually 20+.
Mapping these rings shows you who you actually rely on, who you could ask for things you've never asked for, and who's missing — like, do you have a single trusted adult outside your family in your middle ring? Most kids don't, and it matters.

Step 4 · Create
Map your real network
Write down (just for you) who's in each ring. Be honest. Then notice one thing — either a gap, or someone you'd like to move closer.
Stuck? Start by writing your parents and siblings in the inner ring. Then add your best friend or two. Then move outward. Most kids find their middle ring is thin — that's the most common gap, and it's the one worth working on.
