The Network Simulator

Place devices on the canvas. Wire them together. Send a packet from one to another. Watch the simulator route the packet across your network in real time.

How to use it

Pick a tool on the left, then click on the canvas. Computer, Switch, and Router each act as different kinds of devices. Use Cable to wire two devices together — click one device, then the other.

Once you've placed at least 2 computers and wired them, click Send Packet. Pick the source, then the destination. Watch the packet route through any switches and routers on the way.

Click on the canvas to place a Computer.
