Reading your family, working inside it, loving it without losing yourself. Every family has its own rules — written and unwritten. This workshop teaches you to see both.
Family is the first team you ever join. You didn't try out. You didn't apply. You were drafted. What you do with the team is still yours.
This workshop does not pretend every family is happy. It does not pretend every family is safe. What it does is give the kid tools that work in any family — from the great ones to the hard ones. Real tools, for real families.
The kids who learn to work well with family — including the hard parts — become adults who work well with people generally. And the kids who don't learn it end up repeating patterns they didn't understand. This is one of the highest-return skills a kid can build.
Real practices for the people you didn't choose but got. Some of what you'll learn is how to make it better. Some is how to survive it.
Three lessons — who is in your family, what each person needs from each other, how to be a good family member without making yourself smaller.
