The body roadmap.
Three tracks. Nine workshops. The body as yours, the signals it sends, and how to take care of the home you live in.
Track One · The body is yours
What it means and how it works.
Workshop 01
This body is yours.
Not your parents'. Not your teacher's. Not anyone's. Yours. What does that actually mean? It means you get to say what happens to it. It means you get to say no to touch you don't want. It means you get to listen to it and decide what it needs.
Workshop 02
Body parts have real names.
Knees. Elbows. Mouth. Stomach. Penis. Vulva. Chest. All real parts of the body, all with real names. Kids who know the real names can tell adults what's wrong faster and more clearly. The real names are not bad words.
Workshop 03
Your body is changing — that's normal.
You don't have the body you had at 4. You won't have the body you have now at 14. Bodies grow and change in waves, not steadily. Different kids grow at different times. None of this means anything is wrong with you. Most of it is just being human.
Track Two · Listening to your body
It's talking. Are you listening?
Workshop 04
The body-check.
Right now, in your body: what do you feel and where? Tight chest? Tired legs? Butterflies in your stomach? Hot cheeks? Your body is always saying something. The body-check is just noticing. It takes 30 seconds. Do it three times today.
Workshop 05
Feelings live in the body.
Scared shows up in your chest. Sad shows up in your throat or tummy. Excited shows up in your arms. Angry shows up in your jaw or hands. Your body knew what you were feeling before your brain did. Learn the map.
Workshop 06
When the body says something's wrong.
A weird pain that won't go away. A spot that doesn't feel right. A scared feeling about a touch. A bad-tummy feeling about a person. Your body knows things. If it's saying something's wrong — tell a trusted adult. Don't wait. You won't be in trouble.
Track Three · Taking care of the home you live in
Day-by-day body care for kids.
Workshop 07
The four basics, every day.
Water (more than you think). Sleep (way more than you think). Movement (your body wants to move, not sit). Real food sometimes (not just snacks). These four are 80% of body-care for kids. Master these and you're ahead of most adults.
Workshop 08
The rules of touch.
Safe touch feels good or feels normal. Confusing touch makes you feel weird or scared. Unsafe touch hurts or feels secret. Adults you can trust never ask you to keep a touch secret. If anyone — anyone — asks you to keep a touch secret, that is the signal to tell someone else right away.
Workshop 09
The body you'll grow into.
The body you have now is going to change for the next 10-15 years. Some of that change will feel weird. All of it is normal. The kid who learns to listen to their body now becomes the teen who can handle the changes, who becomes the adult who actually knows their own body. Big head start.
