Math is everywhere. The point of this workshop is to make sure you can see it.
School teaches math as a separate subject, on its own page, in its own class period — like it's something that lives in a textbook and only comes out for forty minutes a day. That's a lie. Math is in the hallway. The lunchroom. The hum of the refrigerator. The pattern in the wallpaper. The shape of every building you've ever stood in.
Once you see it, you can't un-see it. That's the first reckoning.
By the end of this workshop you'll have spotted math in places you never noticed, named the kind of math at work in real things, and listed three places you saw math today — in your own life. The constellation forms when you finish.
